Cyprus 4 Nights/ 5 Days

On arrival at Larnaca (Cyprus) proceed to Limassol and check in to the hotel. Limassol located on the southern shore of Cyprus is the largest seaside resort of the Island. We will visit Lemesos Castle, the Medieval Museum, the Folk Art Museum and the Colossi Castle, the lush Municipal Gardens. Later you can take a walk on ten miles of beautiful beaches. Overnight at Limassol.

After breakfast proceed for a tour to Limassol Old Town, Kourion & Kolossi castle: Visit the archaeological site of Kourion, one of the most spectacular sites on the island, built in 2nd century BC. An important city kingdom comprising of many monuments such as the Greco Roman amphitheatre, now fully restored and used for musical and theatrical performances with remarkable acoustic qualities, See the extravagant mosaic floors at the House of Eustolios, the House of the Gladiators and the House of Achilles. Continue onto the nearby medieval castle of Kolossi, originally constructed in 13th Century. The rooftop offers wonderful views of the surrounding vineyards which produce the famous sweet dessert wine Commandaria known to be one of the World’s oldest named wine produced by the Knights of St John of Jerusalem. Continue to the historical old town of Limassol with unique architecture, traditional workshops, the old market and shops. It is an area bustling with cafes, bars and restaurants that are popular with both the locals and visitors. Visit the nearby Limassol castle known to be where Richard the Lionheart married Berengaria of Navarre and crowned her Queen of England. See the recently constructed state-of-the-art marina, a landmark development for nautical tourism providing the mooring of yachts at sea and on shore. The new marina runs parallel to the old port which has now been transformed into a picturesque fishing harbour. The fishermen set out in their boats at night returning in the early morning with their seafood catch. Pass by the Limassol promenade which extends over a large area of the coastline, known as Molos with parks & playgrounds, many green spaces, walkways, bike lanes, outdoor sculptures and gym, piers and small docks. Ideal for leisurely walks enjoying the sunshine and sea breeze. Overnight Limmasol. (B)

After breakfast proceed for Larnaca & Lefkara Lace village Full day with lunch, Tour begins with the visit to the small mountain village of Lefkara, which is famous for its handmade lace, known as Lefkaritika,for silverware and olive oil. Visit the Embroidery and lace museum, with a large collection of old Lefkara embroidery, for which the village is renowned. Many houses in Lefkara have been declared ancient monuments. Depart for Larnaca, first stopping Kiti village to visit Panayia Angeloktisti, 11th century Byzantine church, whose name means built by angels Erected over the ruins of an Early Christian basilica. The original apse survived together with one of the finest pieces of Byzantine art of the Justinian period, a rare 6th century mosaic of the Virgin and Child between two archangels. Drive past Larnaca''s salt lake, an important migratory route. If lucky we may see the pink flamingos in the lake and various species of water birds. Pass by Hala Sultan Tekke on lake, which is the 4th important mosque in the Moslem world. Visit the magnificent Church of St Lazarus, built by Emperor Leo Vl, in the 9th century and restored in 17th century - a fine example of Byzantine architecture. Walk along the Finikoudes Promenade the famous palm tree lined seafront with the fort along the sea shore. Evening return back to the hotel. Overnight at Limassol. (B)
