Niagara Falls
If there was a list called 'the most majestic sights on the planet', Niagara Falls would ring top slots in it. We vouched for it the day we boarded the 'Maid of the Mist', which took us right under the falls for an experience nonpareil. And while we were stuck in awe, zipping up that raincoat, and covering our heads, the boat got closer and the falls got rip-roaringly loud. It might not be the tallest flurry of water mankind has ever seen but it's unbeatable when it comes to the whopping volume of water that plummets over Niagara Falls' edge. Winter or summers, frozen or free flowing, Niagara Falls are a sight to behold all year long.Stretched over two cities of two different nations, they are relatively easier to get close to from New York, America than Ontario, Canada, which makes for spectacular view, but from a distance.
